My Name is Steve Males. Born in Manchester in the UK, I worked hard at school and college and then began my career on the bottom of the corporate ladder at 18 years of age.
I had climbed my way up and earned OK money, I lived in a nice house and drove a nice car (but had the mortgage and car finance to go with it)
The day before my 30th birthday my son Joshua was born. It was the best day of my life but after my paternity leave ended and I was back to spending most of my waking week away from my new little family, I began to resent it.
I have always deep down thought I can be different to the crowd, I never accepted the things I was told unless I had proven it to myself first. Whenever I spoke to anybody about starting an on-line business I kept hearing the same thing about how I shouldn't give up the security of the corporate life. The more I was doubted the more determined I became. All I wanted was to be able to spend more time with fiancee Donna and our new son Joshua, if I didn't have the debts I had, I would have walked out there and then.
This is where my search began, I knew it had to be possible, the internet is full of the rags to riches stories of people that got out of the corporate world and now enjoy lots of money and more free time. I wanted a piece of that!
As I searched the pages of Google I found it more and more frustrating, everyone had their own way of making money, every idea I read about, I did a search on and each one was a mine field of pages and pages of more information. I nearly threw in the towel, the information overload was putting me off and making me think I couldn't do it.
